Human Resources serves as a partner to departments within the organization to provide advice, support, and recommendations to effectively utilize and manage the Town’s most valuable asset: its people! Our strategic role is to provide an avenue by which managers can attract and retain quality employees. We accomplish this by:

  • Creating a positive work environment in which sound management techniques are consistently practiced;
  • Providing support and advice to line management and serving as an internal consultant to senior management;
  • Assessing performance through coaching, training, counseling, and feedback; and
  • Establishing standards of performance and professional behavior.
