The Town’s budget process to determine agency funding for fiscal year 2023 – 2024 will begin in December. Social service agencies who wish to be considered for funding from the Town were asked to complete and return a request form, include financial reports and any additional information relative to the agency and services provided to Windham residents. Applications without this information will be deemed incomplete and not considered. (Request forms will be provided in December.)
Applications must be submitted to the Windham Town Manager’s Office, 8 School Road, Windham, ME 04062, by no later than (date to be determined). The Council's Human Services Advisory Committee reviews applications and provides a budgetary recommendation to the Council for consideration.

PROCESS:
- Application Period: December 1, 2022 - January 6, 2023
- Committee Interviews: Schedule to be determined
- Council Recommendation: The Human Services Advisory Committee to provide their budgetary recommendation for agency funding to the Town Manager to include in the 2023-2024 proposed budget by the end of February.
- Budget Approval: The Council approved municipal budget allocations to be presented at the annual Town Meeting on June 17, 2023 for public approval. Approved funding will be listed below after the annual Town Meeting.
- Funds may be requested by approved agencies after July 1, 2023.
