COVID-19 Code Enforcement Process

We strongly encourage that customers use on-line resources to conduct town business if possible.

Please use the following guidelines for Code Enforcement business:

Permit Applications:

We are encouraging everyone to submit applications online. Applications should be sent to Mabel at mjdarby@windhammaine.us. If you must submit a paper copy, please mail them to:

A drop box has been placed outside of the Town Hall where payments can be delivered, if needed. Please make sure these payments are put to the attention of Code Enforcement. 

Additionally, please allow up to 72 hours (or 3 business days) for your payment to be processed.

Office Appointments:

At this time, all meetings will be conducted over the phone and by appointment only. Please call Kelsey at 207-894-5900 ext. 6116 or e-mail kmledoux@windhammaine.us to set up a time.

Inspections:

Inspections will be conducted on a limited and as needed basis.

Property Inquiries:

At this time, if you need specific documents on a property, we can scan and e-mail them to you. We cannot send whole property files.

If the property has had any modifications requiring building permits since August 2014, or is new construction, you may access the digital property file using the MyGov links.
