PROJECT: 35 Main Street Public Parking Improvements
Sealed proposals, addressed to Mr. Barry Tibbetts, Town Manager, Town of Windham and endorsed on the outside of the envelope with the name of the Bidder and Project Name will be received at the Windham Public Works Building, 185 Windham Center Road, Windham, ME 04062, until 10:00 AM (prevailing time) on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. There is a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Conference Room, Windham Public Works Building,
185 Windham Center Road, Windham, Maine. All questions are due Friday, April 29, 2022 by 2:00 PM.
OUTLINE OF WORK:
The work includes, but is not limited to, the following items detailed on the plans:
- Reclaim and Repave existing parking lot at 35 Main Street (Cumberland County Soil & Water Conservation District).
- Remove existing curb cut at Route 202.
- Striping improvements.
- Low Impact Development (LID) green infrastructure stormwater improvements.
Owner reserves the right to select the bid “most advantageous to the Town” meaning a bid chosen on the basis of price, quality of merchandise, suitability of merchandise, and service reputation of the vendor, and not necessarily the lowest bid received.
