Finalist for Town Manager Position Announced

The Windham Town Council is pleased to announce the finalist for the position of Town Manager. The finalist was selected from a field of 14 applicants in a national search.

Leon Goodwin is a New Hampshire native who received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Clark University and his law degree from Suffolk University Law School. He is currently a Foreign Service Officer with the United States Department of State. He previously worked in the Town of Salem, New Hampshire as Town Manager and Assistant Town Manager and in the Town of Keene, New Hampshire as Assistant City Attorney.

On Wednesday September 11 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 p.m. the public is invited to an informal “Meet and Greet” gathering at the Windham Town Hall to meet Mr. Goodwin.

On Thursday September 12th, Mr. Goodwin will have the opportunity to view municipal facilities and meet employees and also have an interview with the Town’s Department Heads. The Town Council will then conduct an additional interview with Mr. Goodwin in the evening.

It is anticipated that a final decision on a new Town Manager will be announced the following week.
