[ARCHIVED] Windham Cares Public Outreach

Boy wearing mask 2

We care about your health and wellbeing and that of your families and our community.  Please take preventative measures (i.e., wear a mask, socially distance yourself, wash your hands) to keep yourself and others safe.   Please view our Community COVID-19 Resources page at:, which has links to the CDC, Maine CDC, stress management resources, and COVID testing resources.

Symptoms may appear 2-14 days from exposure to the virus.   People with COVID-19 may experience any one or multiple of the following symptoms:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Headache
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

The CDC indicates that “the more closely a person interacts with others and the longer that interaction, the higher the risk of COVID-19 spread.”   We encourage you to stay safe by staying apart.
