WANTED: PHOTOS OF SPRING!
What happened to spring? Did we miss it?!
Want to see your original photo of a Windham spring scene or landmark featured as the cover of the Town of Windham’s Facebook page or website photo gallery? With spring slow in coming to Maine this year, help us bring it to the town’s website or Facebook page.
Send your original image of a Windham spring (or any season, really) scene or landmark (NO Googling!) to email@example.com and we may add it to the rotating photo gallery on the town website’s home page and/or use it as its Facebook cover photo. Please include your name if you'd like us to credit the photo.
And now for the fine print:
All submissions must be original images captured by the person submitting the photo or submitted with the express permission of the person that captured the photo. By submitting a photo, participants warrant that the submission is an original image that does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, or other rights of privacy or intellectual property of a third party and that participants have obtained any necessary permissions or releases from a third party whose property appears in the photograph. Images may not contain obscene, sexually explicit, and/or defamatory content, or content otherwise deemed objectionable by the Town of Windham for inclusion on the Town’s website that will be viewed by the public, including young children. Content shall be deemed inappropriate at the sole discretion of the Town of Windham. By submitting a photo, participants release and hold harmless the Town of Windham, its officers, agents and employees from any and all liability for any loss, claim, action, demand or damage of any kind resulting from the use of any image submitted or warranty made by a participant. Images submitted may be reproduced, distributed, displayed or otherwise used by the Town of Windham in various media without further permission from the participant.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older as of the date of submission. Submissions may be made with the permission of or by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of a participant under the age of 18.
