  4. Author Talk: Hawreh Haddadi

    Hawreh Haddadi was born in the mountains of Kurdistan, and soon after came to America with his parents and siblings as political refugees. Growing up in the state of Maine, Hawreh quickly fell in love with the beautiful scenery of New England and gravitated to playing basketball year round. "Finding Kurdistan" is the story of Haddadi’s visit to Iran in 2010, and his awakening to the rich culture and history of his family.   1. Rural Windham Rezoning Public Forum

    The Long Range Planning Committee will review the progress of zoning changes to the Farm & Farm Residential Zoning Districts. We'll discuss the approach based on the Comp Plan and the November 2018 public forums and ask for public input on the rules of the game that will shape future development in rural Windham, including changes to the zoning map, the standards for development related to lot size and residential density, and the residential and non-residential uses that will be allowed.
